At Tahiti Village, we care deeply about the well-being and safety of our owners and guests. As we
all continue to grapple with the consequences of the escalating health crisis involving the novel coronavirus
(COVID-19), we wanted to provide you with an update on the steps we are taking at Tahiti Village to protect our
owners, our guests, and our community as we work through this unprecedented situation.
In support of the recommendations of public officials, social distancing efforts, and in coordination with the Board of Directors, we are implementing a number of changes to our resort operations. Effective immediately, and through April 30, 2020 we will not be accepting any new reservations. We are asking all owners and guests with upcoming reservations through April 30, 2020, to reschedule their stays. We are currently taking reservations for arrivals starting June 1, 2020.
In accordance with guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other
applicable government authorities that limits gatherings of people we are also making the following changes
to resort operations effective immediately:
- Enhanced cleaning of the arcade.
- Closure of the gym, sauna, and steam room beginning March 20.
- Limiting the spa to appointments only.
- Review of pool and hot tub hours located on-site.
- Restricting all dining services to takeout and patio dining only to accommodate the social gathering guidance from the CDC.
- Temporarily suspending resort activities.
We intend to operate as set forth in this letter for as long as possible; however, please realize that these are dynamic and rapidly-evolving circumstances that require day-to-day decision making. While guests who have already checked in to a resort may be able to remain through the date of their scheduled departure, they should strongly consider shortening their stays as movement in and around Tahiti Village may be restricted. Depending on how this situation evolves, we may have to restrict access to your suite and/or close Tahiti Village at any point and require immediate departures.
For our guests, we will commit to waive cancellation penalties or offer full refunds. All reservations booked
having taken advantage of a "non-refundable" offer will have the opportunity to change their travel dates
without penalty. All other retail reservations can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 48 hours before
your scheduled arrival. If you need to adjust retail reservations through our Call Center, please contact our
Reservation Team at 1-855-386-4658. If you need to adjust a retail reservation made through an online travel
agency (OTA) or another third party, please contact them directly for assistance.
Rest assured that we will contact you in the event that we are required to further change course due to
updated health and safety guidance. Thank you for your continued support and understanding as our team
navigates what is truly new ground for all of us. This is a fluid situation with local, state, and federal
jurisdictions issuing guidance and/or restrictions continuously. Tahiti Village will fully comply with government
guidance as it is updated.
